Yom Kippur Family Service, Monday, September 28, 9:15 am

From the V’ahavta - V’shinantam levanecha,

And you shall teach your children…

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are entry ways into Jewish values.  The prayers, rituals and stories in which we engage and share at this time of year center upon kindness, sensitivity, making amends, and forgiveness. Even on line, these reminders, boosted by the call of the Shofar, will echo and reverberate within us all, as we head into a school year with as much variance and vulnerability as we have ever known.  Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur will help us all center and root ourselves deeply into this moment, staying mindful of all that makes life worth living.
