Angels in Jewish Texts by Marian Bell

Angels in Jewish Texts: Both Kabbalah and Torah mention the angels at length. Angels are described as forces that send information to us from God. They are in our prayers on Shabbat & to be said before we go to sleep, they were there at creation, they play a role in our mediations, and in places of spirituality. “May the angel who redeems me from all evil, bless the children, and let my name be named in them, and the name of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac, and let them flourish like fish for the multitude in the midst of the land." - Genesis 48:16.  Exodus 43a, also lists ten ranks of angels.
