"Sorry, All I Got You Was This Poem" - Apology Poetry Led by Sara Sands

Ever tried to apologize but couldn't find just the right words? Found yourself
struggling to reply when someone has apologized to you? In this workshop, we'll try to find the right words by reading the words others have crafted. From the sages to
Shakespeare to the pages of The New Yorker, we'll read some poetry together and
practice writing our own poetry in the hopes we find the right words to give apologies
and receive them.

Sara Sands, Ph.d.: Sara Sands is an Instructional Associate Professor of Public
Administration and Associate Director of the Elizabeth D. Rockwell Center on Ethics &
Leadership. She is also a creative writer. Her creative nonfiction works have been
published in Arkansas Review: A Journal of Delta Studies, American Chordata, The
Merrimack Review, and Glacial Hill Reviews. After a long hiatus, she has returned to
her first passion - poetry - and is excited to share it with CSK.

Who Are My Angels? Led by Marian Bell

Stories and movies about angels are captivating and convincing. They are sprinkled
throughout history and in modern media, as people recount seeing or being assisted
by angels during difficult times.

The Bible mentions angels more than 500 times and are defined as beings and
messengers that can assist others.

Many people believe that guardian angels watch over them and protect them from
harm. Many even refer to real people as angels when they help them
through difficult times. Faith encourages us to discover the ways that God can inspire our friends or family to be there in our time of need. While you may not have wings or a halo, God
can quietly encourage you to be in the right place, at the right time for someone who needs your help.

Angels are among us and God has sent them on a mission to intercede on behalf of
whispered prayers. Every encounter presents a new opportunity to change your
approach to life.

Marian Bell has been facilitating spiritual groups for 15 plus years, starting with The
Mussar Institute. She has led classes on Angels, Principals of Eating and taking care of
ourselves in a Jewish way, Ayeka, Elul, Counting the Omer, Jewish Feng Shui, and
Jewish Drum Circles. In her everyday life, Marian’s business focuses on Health and
Wellness, Women’s events, and Downsizing and organizing in a clutter-free space. Her
hobbies are jogging, dancing and taking Jewish classes about the works of Rav Kook.

What Would King Solomon Do? An Imagery Meditation on the Illuminations of King Solomon Led by Nanette Tashnek MSW, D.PSc

We live in a time of extreme chaos in the world. Ongoing megabytes of information from outside sources fuel our brain waves.  Considering the heightened level of grief and loss, suffering, violence, illness, financial and climate changes, and speed of life, we might find ourselves lost, confused, and wandering.

Where is the clarity and confidence within our own minds? Are we following only the opinions, advice, and beliefs of others?

Through the rage there is love and joy, through the fear there is trust, through the apathy there is connection, and through the hopelessness there is faith and desire, all within the power of inner imagery waiting to be opened and seen.

What would King Solomon do in our times? He is considered one of the wisest of men. He was gifted great wisdom from God after making one thousand sacrifices. He had dominion over much of nature and some supernatural forces.

In this workshop you will channel wisdom and clarity through King Solomon’s famous court, the Temple.  It might confirm your existing knowledge or perhaps bring to light fresh perspectives of a larger view. Clarity within your deeper mind along with gifts from the King are waiting for you.

How can the vibe of a king from the past illuminate experience way beyond the shadow of a historical story? Join us to bring confidence and strength back to your own inner wisdom by meditating on the illuminations of King Solomon.

Nanette Tashnek MSW, D.PSc continues her life work with utter delight and
amazement and ongoing commitment to her mentor, Dr Akhter Ahsen, pioneer of
image psychology. She has followed the tribe of those who study Kabbalah for many
years. As a transformational life coach, trainer, speaker, and workshop presenter over
20+ years in Eidetic Imagery, Nanette continues to help others cross barriers to what
is known, and what is possible within the mind, body, and spiritual constraints. She is
imbued with personal, collective, and spiritual stories beyond the confines of the past
and helps adults and couples to do the same.
